First apply the desired plaster with a trowel. Then structure the applied plaster with the texture paint roller. From time to time use a painter's spatula to remove excess material from the textured paint roller.

Tips:

Start with a test surface (a piece of wallpaper or cardboard) to get a feel for the structure of the paint roller. In this way you work in the texture of the paint roller at the same time. When decorating, only use the structure paint roller on smooth to very finely structured surfaces. Only work on stable, non-absorbent substrates.

Note the processing time of the plaster and paint used. Before you dare to use the relief texture roller on your wall surface to be designed, first test the painting tool on a test surface, such as a piece of cardboard or wallpaper. You will thus develop a feeling for the tool and work in the textured roller at the same time. 

If you use the texture roller for decorating, make sure that you can only achieve the desired effect on smooth or at most lightly textured (woodchip without coarse graining). We recommend only decorating stable, non-absorbent surfaces with the textured roller.
